MEET THE HARWIN TEAM: Roll your cursor over the names for more information
Irwin started in the photographic community in 1979 when he entered the Fashion Institute of Technology as a photo major and also started working part time in a local NYC camera store.
After a short time assisting and shooting his own work, he quickly learned that he would be much happier and more successful on the logistics side of our industry rather than the creative side. So for the past 30 years he has spent his time working at some very well known NYC photographic institutions such as Hirsch Photo and his last 15 years at Calumet Photographic.
His focus for the later half of his time has been dedicated to building a name and reputation for the highest level of technology, quality, and most importantly service. During this time he has developed a large and loyal following of clients and vendors.
Harwin Camera is proud to be New York’s newest PhaseOne partner. Harwin Camera is all about service and the relationship that need to exist between supplier and end user. It is my goal to continue to offer the very best products, services, support, and workshops in our industry.

Vic started out in 1978 as manager in his family business, Advance Camera, where he eventually became an owner. He continued his career working as a sales manager with both Alkit Camera and Adorama Camera. In 2008, he worked at Calumet Photo as a Sales Manager until joining the team at Harwin Camera.
Vic considers it a real joy to work with a sales staff that has been on the same journey as himself through the ever-changing photographic industry.

Jay Callum has been involved in photography since his early teens and his photographic experience ran from the high school newspaper to events, products, scenics and architecture.
He became involved in photographic sales in 1973 with Copley Camera Pro Sales in Boston and was sales manager from 1975 until Crimson Tech of Cambridge purchased Copley Camera in 1986. Jay stayed on with Crimson as an account executive and eventually photographic sales manager, growing sales of photographic equipment and supplies within the core market and expanding into the digital realm in the early 1990’s. Calumet Photographic purchased Crimson in 1997, and Jay became one of the founding members of Calumet Cambridge where he was director of sales for commercial/industrial accounts and high-end digital products.
In 1999, wanting to be in an environment closer to his roots and more community based, Jay joined the well-established team at E.P. Levine in Boston and became its co-owner in 2007. Already well known and respected in the photo industry and regional photographic community, Levine’s was the leading pro supplier in New England until it’s closing in October of 2015.
Now happy to be part of the team at Harwin Camera, Jay will continue to bring his knowledge and expertise to the Boston/New England photo community.
